Accessibility

Central Christian Church values people with disabilities, as we are all created in the image of God.  Though our historic building is over 100 years old, we strive to remove barriers of architecture, communications and attitude that exclude people with disabilities from full and active participation.  We encourage all people to practice their faith and use their talents and gifts in worship, service and leadership. Please feel free to call the church office if you have any additional special needs that we may be able to assist with.

Building Access

Wheelchair access, with elevator access to all floors, is located at Door 2, tucked away in the front courtyard of our church building. There is also a ramp leading to and from our Sanctuary/Fellowship Hall area to accessible restrooms and classrooms.

Handicapped Parking

Designated parking spaces are located in the small parking lot along the east side of the church as well as in the nearby parking lot across Ft. Wayne Street.

Hearing Loss Assistance

Assistive Listening Device equipment is available to transmit a clear, crisp sound to people with hearing aids.  Receivers may be picked up from our sound desk prior to the service.

Visual Assistance

Large-print order of service programs are available from our greeters.

Gluten-Free Communion Bread

Gluten-free communion bread is served as a choice with communion at Central Christian Church.
