Assisting with Sunday Service
It takes 20-30 volunteers to help provide a meaningful and hospitable worship service.
Greeters welcome visitors and members alike with a friendly word and a bulletin. Because of the many ways to enter our building, 4 greeters are needed each week. The requirements are simply a willing heart and a friendly smile.
Worship Leader welcomes the congregation and helps begin the service through announcements, call to worship, and sharing of scripture.
Acolytes light the three candles on the communion table, bringing in the light of Christ. Acolytes are generally between 4 and 12 years of age.
Fellowship Host provides a welcome place for conversation and refreshments.
Choir provides the wonderful music that is such a meaningful part of our worship service.
Nursery Care welcomes the smallest among us following the Children's Sermon.
Children Worship and Wonder needs both a story teller and a greeter to create a time of wonder around the biblical stories. This group is for children ages 3 thru second grade. For more information see the link to the left.
Young Disciples is an opportunity for two adults to share the intelligent and imaginative world of children third grade through sixth grade. For more information see the link to the left.
