Building Use
Guidelines
Because of a commitment to
serving Jesus Christ, Central Christian Church has committed itself to a
ministry of hospitality. We are pleased
to offer the building for your use in the spirit of “Open Hearts, Open Minds,
and Open Arms”. In an effort to
maintain good communication with the groups who use the building, we are making
the following requests.
A Building Use Agreement must be completed, signed and approved before use can begin. All Building Use Agreements are subject to renewal and approval on an annual basis.
Usage fees must be paid according to the agreement, or building use may be terminated. All payments must be made either by check or money order. Cash will not be accepted for payment. Please mail payments to the Church Office, attn: Building Use. Custodial Staff are instructed not to handle payments. If payment is not received in a timely manner, the Building Use Agreement may be terminated upon Central Christian Church’s discretion.
Users should notify the Church Office if they are unable to use the building at their agreed upon time. Unless prepayment has been provided for an event, twenty-four (24) hour cancellation notice must be given in order to avoid being assessed a “Failure To Show” Fee. If the scheduled event time is on a weekend, the cancellation must be made no later than Friday NOON (12pm). A “Failure To Show” Fee is $20.00. Payment will be required before the group is allowed to use the building again. No requested refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than seven (7) days prior to an event.
Alcohol and other drugs and/or drug-related paraphernalia will not be allowed on church property. This includes inside the church building, outside and around the church building, on the sidewalks, in the large parking lot across the street, in the small parking lot next to the building, or in the lawn areas. Smoking is prohibited in all areas inside the church building. Smoking is permitted only outside the church building, across the street, away from all church entrances. Smokers are asked to deposit cigarette butts in the red metal can receptacles provided.
Church staff will make sure doors are open when needed. Doors must not be propped open at any time.
Non-member groups may not use church musical instruments, furniture, dinnerware, appliances or audio-visual equipment without the prior approval of a staff person.
The building will be closed and no events will be scheduled on the following holidays:
