People's Climate March

People's Climate March - Indianapolis

April 29, 10:30 am

Veterans Memorial Park
550 North Meridian Street

Join the People’s Climate March on April 29 in Indiana!
Hoosiers know that to change everything, we have to change Indiana.
We are home to some of the largest polluters in the nation, and communities across our state are facing the harmful impacts and legacy of toxic pollution impacting their health, jobs, and quality of life. We also have an important role in fighting climate change, and securing justice and opportunity for Hoosier residents and people across the globe.

We will end the march at PanAm Plaza so that participants can attend Indy VegFest!

April 22 is Earth Day

Education is the foundation for progress. We need to build a global citizenry fluent in the concepts of climate change and aware of its unprecedented threat to our planet. We need to empower everyone with the knowledge to inspire action in defense of environmental protection.

Environmental and climate literacy is the engine not only for creating green voters and advancing environmental and climate laws and policies but also for accelerating green technologies and jobs.

This Earth Day, gather with your community for an Environmental & Climate Literacy Teach-In or another project focused on education. Earth Day Network is launching Earth Day and Teach-In toolkits that will lay out the steps for holding a successful event. Register your event with then and they will support you with promotion and advice.
