Blue Christmas - Dec. 17 @ 5:30 PM

Holidays can sometimes be hard for those who have had recent losses in their lives.  Seasonal events are filled with rituals and traditions, and they often feel empty when someone or something we have loved is gone. The dark also intensifies the feelings of loneliness and sadness.

At Central Christian Church, we will gather on Sunday evening, December 17 at 5:30 to share in a quiet service which will allow us to express our struggles with the tension between our desire for light and our experience of lonely darkness.  The Blue Christmas service is offered to help us know we are not alone. We share the complex feelings of hope and despair as the truth of life and the hope of something different wrestle in our souls.

If you or someone you know is struggling this season, join us on December 17 as we explore the light that comes as a child in the night.
