Central Christian Church is a great place to grow in our comprehension of God’s call to continually broaden our understanding of issues in our broken world. Through studying topics such as justice, prayer, dignity, Bible and Christian heritage, we are continually reminded of the scriptural call to provide a place at the table for everyone. The opportunity to be challenged by study, to dig deeper and to view our responses more broadly helps us love all God’s people more fully. We believe this deepening of the dialog is beneficial to us as individuals and this faith community as a whole. Opportunities are provided for both small group study and large group interaction on Sundays and throughout the week. Everyone is welcome regardless of experience or depth of knowledge.

Sunday short-term adult studies

Sunday short-term adult studies are frequently offered following our 10:30 worship exploring a wide range of topics. As a congregation that likes to eat often these classes include a carry in light lunch. These study groups range in time from one session to several weeks. In recent years topics have included: the book of Romans, generosity and giving, peacemaking, living with loss, Islam 101, Disciples history, theology and understanding God's economy. While some study topics change as interests arise. This class, when scheduled, meets Sunday at noon in the conference room.
