The Central Christian Church Chancel Choir serves in worship almost every Sunday from September through May, and in special holiday services. The choir presents a variety of music from Classical to Spirituals and accompanied and a cappella. Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 7:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. upstairs in the choir room. You would find a welcome here!
Central Christian Church has many instrumentalists who aid in worship in many ways. Whether in a solo or ensemble; beginner or professional, there is a place for you to use your musical gifts at Central. Once a month, the Central Christian Church Instrumental Ensemble plays in worship. Rehearsal is always at 9:00 am in the sanctuary on days that the ensemble plays. All instruments are welcome, and musicians can get the music ahead of time to practice. Please let us know if you would like more information or to be included on theinstrumentalist email list.
Our Handbell Choir is composed of ringers of various skill levels. Some have been playing for a long time and others are beginners so come give it a try. The Handbell Choir frequently participates in our worship services and practices on Thursday night at the church from 6:00 - 6:45.
Vocal Solos or Ensembles
Individuals are welcome to participate in vocal solos or ensembles in worship. Different types of ensembles are welcome for Offertories, Special Music or Communion Music. Please let us know it you are interested in participating in one of these ways.
Children's Musical Opportunities
Our children at Central Christian Church have a great appreciation for music in worship.
Children can participate as soloists or in ensembles. Periodically, musical presentations are organized specifically for children's participation.

Concerts for a Cause
Central Christian Church presents a variety of concerts and recitals several times a year. Our Concerts are generally at 2:00 pm on Sunday afternoons. This congregation strongly supports the arts and believes that praising God through music is a gift to be shared with a wider community.
The concerts are free of charge but donations are accepted. Fifty percent of any donations received are designated to local causes. Previous concerts have featured members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and faculty members from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
The series is coordinated by R. Kent Cook (email@example.com). Questions can be answered by Kent by emailing our office (firstname.lastname@example.org), or by calling (317) 635-6397.
The Threshold Singers of Indianapolis belong to a growing international community of a capella choirs that bring comfort and peace to the bedsides of the dying. Central Christian Church is pleased to sponsor this choir.
Threshold Singers are specially trained before qualifying for bedside work with the group. This group has been partnering with Seasons Hospice since mid-2013; and has begun regular visits to the Abbie Hunt Bryce Home, which houses patients with limited financial resources. Also on the horizon is a partnership with St. Vincent Hospice.
