Chancel Choir

The Central Christian Church Chancel Choir serves in worship almost every Sunday from September through May and in special holiday services. The choir presents a variety of music to support and guide worship, including classical, spirituals and contemporary genres. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM in the choir room.

Instrumental Music

Central Christian Church has several instrumentalists who aid in worship. Whether in a solo or ensemble, a beginner or professional, there is a place for you to use your musical gifts at Central. On the fourth Sunday of the month the Central Christian Church Instrumental Ensemble plays in worship. Rehearsal is 9:00 AM in the sanctuary on days that the ensemble plays. All instruments are welcome and musicians will be given the music ahead of time. Instrumentalists are also invited frequently to accompany the choir or soloists. Contact the Minister of Music (music@indyccc.org)to be included in the Instrumental email list.

Children's Musical Opportunities

Our children at Central Christian Church have a great appreciation for music in worship. Children can participate as soloists or in ensembles. Periodically, musical presentations are organized specifically for children's participation.

Concerts with a Cause

Central Christian Church presents concerts and recitals several times a year. Our concerts are generally at 2:00 pm on Sunday afternoons. This congregation strongly supports the arts and believes that praising God through music is a gift to be shared with a wide community.

The concerts are free of charge but donations are accepted. Half of donations received at concerts are designated to local causes.

For more information and a schedule of coming events, please visit our Concerts with a Cause page.
